Biography
Tim served India’s disabled for 11 years under an MUP/Joni and Friends partnership. Tim and his wife founded Operation Equip India. Prior to this he served 3 years in India with Habitat for Humanity. Presently he is the US Director of Mission to Unreached Peoples. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Houghton College and MBA from Hope International University.

Joanne Pepper is the Coordinator of Intercultural Religious Studies at TWU, and a professor of Missions at ACTS Seminaries. She has worked in numerous mission ministries in Latin America & Eastern Europe, and has been for several years a member of a Hispanic congregation in the Fraser Valley.

Biography
Ruth, born in 1928 in Chicago to Peter and Vera Deyneka Sr., began missionary ministry with SGA in Europe in 1950. For over 30 years she ministered in Ecuador broadcasting in Russian and Spanish. Today she continues to travel and minister to men, women and children in the former Soviet Union.

A family member, friend or someone from your congregation who has been serving as a missionary in a creative access country has just been killed or kidnapped. A reporter from the local media has just arrived on your door step/church office wanting details. What were they doing in the country? How were they employed? Who sent them? Etc. How would you answer the reporter? A panel of experts will discuss some of the dos and don’ts of media interviews and will give some helpful suggestions should you ever be in a situation like the one described.

Biography
Bruce is a member of the Missions Fest board of directors and has been working on the seminar committee for several years. He has served on various church missions committees and mission boards. He has experienced a short term trip to Mexico and is an enthusiastic missions promoter.
