The Changing Face of Muslim Women

Biography
Pearl has lived and worked in 3 different Muslim countries over a period of 25 years. Besides raising and home-schooling her children, she has taught English and befriended many women. At present she and her husband are based in England in a city with a large percentage of Muslims.

Most people have heard of the crisis in Darfur. Come and hear about the complexity of Sudan and why the crisis continues today. We will cover a brief history and begin to unravel the issues that are factoring into this on-going crisis.

Biography
Roger first experienced relief work in Sudan in 1999. After studying Business-Economics and Bible-Theology he went on to receive a Masters in Business Administration (MBA). Roger has spent 5 years in East and Central Africa working and travelling through Kenya, Southern Sudan, Uganda and DR Congo.

Currently Project Manager-Africa at Samaritan’s Purse Canada. Just prior to this David served as missionary-in-residence at Calgary’s Ambrose University College. He was formerly a missionary to Cote d’Ivoire, Africa, where his primary ministries were with unreached people groups, leadership training, and missions mobilization.

Edwin Molendijk, born in Holland, lived on a Kibbutz in Ga’Aton, Israel, received Jesus Christ at age 20 in the USA, and tried to solve the world food problem in Thessalonica, Greece. Now, together with Samuel Adu-Poku, he founded Harvesters Canada to rebuild the nation of Ghana, West Africa.
