Music at Missions Fest 2009

Music plays a significant role at Missions Fest. Lyrics are chosen to point people to the Lord Jesus and His Great Commission. Music is also chosen for it’s participatory qualities. We hope you will join your voices with us, as we lift up the name of Jesus.

Father’s Daughter is a gifted gospel quartet that will sing for the Friday night and Saturday night Prelude of Praise. Father’s Daughter is a father on piano, along with three singing daughters. The Trinity Western University Choir will lead worship for the Sunday morning and afternoon plenary sessions. Kimberley Janzen will lead the worship at all adult plenary sessions, along with her wonderful team of Carmen Fast, Ay Laung Wang, Andrew Block and friends.

A focus on prayer this year will afford all participants the privilege of lifting our voices together in prayer, as we lift up prayers and praise together. May Jesus Christ be praised, loved and adored, as we worship together.

Father’s Daughter

Father's Daughter was born in 2002 when Sonja, Emily and Rachel Fast and their dad, Ed, recorded a CD of their favorite songs. Since then they've performed at numerous events in their community as well as at gospel celebrations throughout Western Canada. Their desire is to encourage and bless people with uplifting Christian music and the gift of song. Wherever they perform Father's Daughter wants to reach people with the message of hope found in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Father's Daughter makes its home in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada.
